I want to address our local politicians in regard to Boeing’s decision whether to build the 7E7 here in Washington. Not long ago Boeing tried to talk to politicians about what was needed for Boeing to remain in Washington. Politicians seemed to turn a deaf ear to what Boeing laid out on the table in regard to what they would or would not be able to do. Result: Boeing moved its headquarters, as they threatened to at the time, out of Washington.
Politicians, this time do not call Boeing’s bluff. They will not be bluffing about the 7E7, either. Get Boeing back to Washington or there may not be much of Washington to get back to
