Bush, Cheney and Paulson initiated the bailout plan to reward their friends, who are corporate leaders, Wall Street money manipulators and CEOs. Billions of dollars after these corporate leaders manipulated our stock market, which included gas prices, and raped the American workers out of trillions of dollars from their retirement funds, the Bush administration has rewarded the people who are responsible for our current recession by giving them billions of dollars.
What happened to the intellect of our congressional representatives? Why haven’t Bush and part of his administration been charged with the crimes they have committed, such as fraud and treason? Where are the fraud charges for AIG and others that manipulated the trillions of dollars of loss from the American taxpayers? Why should the American workers always be the ones to take a cut in pay?
Bush has a deregulatory mindset that has put corporate interests above public interests. Our other elected government officials are using very poor judgment in allowing him to pass his midnight regulations that all benefit his biggest benefactors. Bush must be stopped and the de facto laws initiated by the executive branch in the last days of his reign of financial terror must be stopped.
How can this be done? Change the laws for the executive branch.
The GOP should now be called the GOB, for the good old boy network that has polluted our government. Our Constitution says “For the People and by the People,” but the Bush administration has tried to wipe out the middle class with his mindset of “For Corporate Power and by Corporate Power.”
I sincerely feel that the last eight years of GOP leadership will go down in history as the worst leadership in the history of the United States.
