I am as upset about the tragic drowning deaths of the two young girls as almost everyone else. The Herald article lamented the fact that there were no lifeguards on duty yet at Silver Lake. However, wouldn’t the article have better performed a service to the public in preventing future tragedies by encouraging all parents and children to learn how to swim?
