This letter is in response to letter writer Scott Eiler (“Taxpayer money not being well spent,” Dec. 12). Boy, do I agree with him. How dare Community Transit send its employees on nice trips with taxpayer money just to see how they should spend the rest of their windfall. If they have money left over, our buses do not need new logos, the ones we have on there are just fine. Why not take the rest of that money and donate it where it will do some good, like the food banks in Snohomish County, or to help homeless people get a place to live? There are many ways we could spend that left-over money. Taxpayers, are you with me on this?
