With all the demonstrators in the streets protesting the immigration bill in Congress, it would be interesting to know how many of them have any idea what the bill says, or what they are protesting about.
True, we are a nation of immigrants. But people seem to forget that they were legal immigrants. There is a difference.
The bill provides a way for them to become legal. Even a way to become citizens.
I hope that our legislators have the intestinal fortitude to listen to the voters instead of the protestors.
