Excellent ideas shared by Washington Post columnist E.J. Dionne about the situation with health care legislation currently being proposed in the Senate. (“GOP can’t deliver tax cuts and health care,” The Herald, June 29). Let’s join him. Send this column to Sens. Patty Murray and Maria Cantwell, who are working their best to actually provide what he is suggesting. Let them pass the million letters they received on to their peers. Then ask your friends in other states to demand their senators produce a bill that provides affordable health care for all.
Our voices will be heard if we speak up. Use the phone or the mail and let your senators know: affordable health care for all Americans is what we want.
