Let transit users pay their own way

Our elected officials tell us that they’ve had to cut our transit budget by 35 percent, yet we still hear on the radio and on TV the voice of reason. If transit truly had cut 35 percent from its budget and can still afford an ad campaign and have empty buses rolling down the road, looks likes there’s plenty more fat to cut.

Fifteen percent of commuters use mass transit. Those 15 percent should pay the majority of it.

Now that sounds like the voice of reason to me!
