I am writing this in regards to the horrible accident that took the young lives of Levi Whiting and Cory Haynes in Marysville. I too, have lost friends to the tragedy of car accidents. What bothers me so much about this one are the people who are driving around with the sign, “In memory of Cory and Levi,” written on the back of their cars. There have been three separate occasions where I have seen these cars speeding down the road, weaving in and out of traffic.
I would hope that people would learn from this sad tragedy and not risk it happening to them. As we all have seen, life is too short! Please think about the friends that you have lost as you are driving. It could happen to anyone at anytime. Learn a lesson from them and don’t take their death in vain. Not only will you keep yourselves safe but you’ll keep the rest of us who drive responsibly from being harmed as well.
