There are two Division I-A college football programs in the state of Washington.
One team is flush with funds yet cannot put together a winning program, even if you paid them.
The other is 23rd in the Bowl Championship Series standings, has a stadium half the size of Husky Stadium while playing without a punter or a kicker so the wide receiver doubles as the punter. A team that traveled to then second-ranked Auburn with over 5,000 fans. A team that gets practically no press in the Herald yet is on its way to yet another meaningful bowl game in December.
Let’s see some coverage, and Go Cougs.
