We have been building and widening the main roads for 30 years and all it brings is new growth. All these projects will not catch us up on our current traffic problems. As soon as the roads are fixed more developers will come in and squeeze in more houses and light industry, which will bring more cars, which brings us back to square one again. It’s time to say no.
Slow down growth so our communities can catch up. It’s time to fix the side streets, provide proper classrooms for our over-crowded schools and preserve some of our remaining green space. The gas tax is still scheduled to go up one more time to keep current projects on track.
It’s time to slow growth to bring our standard of living back. Vote no on Roads and Transit.
