I kind of like this presidential election. Very few bumper stickers and signs for Trump or Clinton. That says something!
Call me grumpy, but I don’t like all the campaign signs that go with elections. I get tired of seeing all the names on placards stuck in the ground all over town. Fortunately, I live in a neighborhood that does not allow them. I think these signs should be illegal on public property, but now that I think about it, no politician is going to support that change. Just think, all that money could go to charity.
One benefit of the lack of enthusiasm for these presidential candidates is the absence of visual pollution. Although, I did see a good bumper sticker today “Neither One – 2016.”
OK, enough complaining, this is a great democracy and I will definitely vote anyway!
