I have become increasingly concerned about the course that our current presidential election has taken. This concern has culminated in what I perceived about a statement made in the last “debate,” that Mr. Trump would balk at stating that he would bow to the American public’s opinion regarding who wins this election smacks of despotism and demagoguery. Frankly, Mr. Trump frightens me. I will admit that Ms. Clinton leaves much to be desired with regard to trustworthiness, but, she seems a much safer choice for our democracy. I do hope that my fellow Americans can see through the hype of this campaign.
