I support Janice Huxford for the 44th District House of Representatives seat.
Politicians must first and foremost see themselves as citizens. More importantly a citizen in tune with those they represent. Politicians must work in and among the community in order to understand the needs and wants of their neighbors. Janice Huxford is this type of politician. I actually hesitate in calling her a politician as this is the first office she has sought after.
Huxford comes with a small business and community volunteer background. For me these are two backgrounds a representative needs. As a small business owner, Huxford, has created jobs and knows the value of hard work. As a community volunteer for the Lake Stevens Aquafest, Huxford, has placed herself among her community as a leader. She is a leader in tune with what the citizens of the 44th District need and want.
