Lost amid the political rhetoric is the existence of sheer panic among the elite of both political parties. They foresee a Trump presidency as ending their reign of “lordship” over the people and the nation. He represents the citizens who are weary of the elitist self-serving demigods of both parties who view themselves as above the law and seek absolute control by trashing the Constitution. Their primary concern is not for the welfare of the people or the nation, but for party politics and whatever special interests that will insure their re-election. Being free of these entanglements, Trump represents the hope of the people who seek a return to the government of the people, by the people, and for the people. Make no mistake, that government is on the cusp of being lost forever. While Trump remains an enigma, there is no doubt that replacing an emperor with a queen will only insure the end of whatever freedoms we have left.
