Quite a bit of ink has already been used to write about the presidential election, but I’m so excited about the local elections and the quality of our candidates! We have Tina Podlowdowski, who seems to be on a mission to make sure everyone has access to vote. There’s John Lovick, who has lived a life of service and wants to continue to contribute. There’s Katrina Ondracek, who has a professional background with United Way and has seen some of the issues we face and has plans to help alleviate them. Erin Jones for OSPI has an amazing background filled with experience and knowledge who will bring so much to the office and to our children. Gov. Inslee, who has done so much for the working class, environment, and for the differently abled. Cyrus Habib will make a great Lt. Governor, And, of course, Hans Dunshee, who now wants to work on the issues on a more local level than previously. I know I only have a limited space and there are other wonderful candidates I haven’t mentioned. We have such a wealth of great candidates! I want to encourage everyone to fill out your ballots and support them this Nov. 8!
