Mark Harmsworth was elected to represent the 44th Legislative District for the first time in 2014. He hit the ground running by making his voice heard on such important issues as congestion relief, I-405 tolls and education funding.
One of his many contributions was to the overall effort by Republicans to increase teachers’ salaries, reduce college tuition, fund essential mental health programs and keep our fledgling state charter schools open, all without raising taxes. That is key – without raising taxes! The people of this state have voted down an income tax and tax increases year after year, but many in Olympia do not want to listen.
So, I implore readers to re-elect Mark Harmsworth, allowing him to continue representing us by making our government more efficient and accountable.
