The I-405 tolling mess and its resulting congestion have become a defining local issue in this election. These problems have not been fixed by tolling. State House of Representatives candidate Jim Langston is a pretty savvy guy. He knows we need to stop doing what isn’t working and start doing the things that will actually help commuters get where they need to go.
That’s another reason why Sound Transit’s November ballot proposal for $50-plus billion in new taxes is such a bad idea. Not only does it fail to reduce traffic congestion — it means our roadways won’t get the resources they need to actually get us moving again.
Jim Langston will seek legitimate input from the users to make appropriate decisions on what’s in the best interest of the people, optimizing the money and resources the state already has. We are supporting Jim Langston because he’s the only candidate for the House who will work to fix our traffic mess.
Besides that, he’s a genuine Scoutmaster who, like the Scouts he teaches, is trustworthy, loyal, helpful and so on…
