John Lovick is a proven leader on public safety and transportation. As a state representative he passed tough laws, including the Seat Belt Safety law, which has saved countless lives, and he was tough on crime, resulting in good legislation that has protected citizens and kept our children safe. As a former State Patrol trooper, he knows what it takes to make our roads safe and our traffic moving again. As a former sheriff, he is endorsed by many law enforcement groups and individuals, including Snohomish County Sheriff Ty Trenary and King County Sheriff John Urquhart.
John is a man of impeccable integrity and character. He is creative, innovative and respectfully conveys an independent mode of thinking. These characteristics enable him to provide a pragmatic way of dealing with stressful situations. This can-do spirit, with an adapt-and-overcome philosophy, is an admirable and most-desired way of thinking for someone working within so challenging and complex an environment as state government.
John’s leadership is unmatched. I cannot think of anyone better suited to represent the 44th District with the temperament and insight to keep Washington moving in the right direction.
