Letter of thanks: For hospital guild donors, volunteers

As we celebrate Thanksgiving and enter this joyful holiday season, I appreciate the opportunity to recognize the members of Providence General Children’s Association as well as the amazing supporters and donors who help us meet our mission to serve the health care needs of children in our community.

In spite of the challenges of these unprecedented times we’ve all faced over the past two years, I continue to be utterly impressed by the creativity, loyalty and resilience of our members and by the amazing generosity of our incredible donors and supporters. Because we are a 100 percent volunteer not-for-profit organization, all of the money we raise through Guild activities and sales at our incredible gift shops have immediate and lasting impact in our community.

I’m extraordinarily proud of our 71-plus-year legacy and thankful for every member and supporter of Providence General Children’s Association.
