Are people forgetting the fact that the National Football League does not have a rule for their players that they have to stand for the national anthem? It has been stated over and over again, and that is a very important fact that shouldn’t be ignored. Also, not one supporter of these players are telling the people who are upset to not be upset. Or that they have to respect this. Not a single person. But there seems to be adamant refusal by so many to respect these players’ constitutional right to do this. Let’s not forget how important constitutional right is, and it shall not be tread on at all. That is what this boils down to, please respect the constitutional rights of these players, and move on. The way this has been turned into some mega issue is absolutely ridiculous. More and more players are doing this, and that is fine to me because I respect their constitutional right. If standing for the anthem was mandatory, we might as well be a country like North Korea or China. Thank you.
