Tried to watch some Olympic Games on KING-5. Turned out to be very annoying because we are bombarded with commercials. These broadcasters and cable/satellite guys must make billions, so why must they charge us viewers so much to watch this nonsense?
Probably the most annoying commercial is that one from Cabela’s, talking about responsible gun ownership. That’s the company who sold recently an assault weapon to an unstable teenager. Do they at Cabela’s really think that people who buy these kind of weapons only use it for self-defense? Maybe not legally (time to change that!) but morally I hold Cabela’s also responsible for the tragic deaths of three Mukilteo teenagers.
