Letter: Vote for Clinton brings us closer to Socialism

Donald Trump’s language largely condemned recently as being offensive to women, was, as he describes it, locker room talk! These words were recorded many years ago when Trump was unaware he was being recorded. As Trump said, “it was locker room talk” — intended for a private audience. It was the choice of the Democrats to broadcast his words, to make political hay out of it! They are the ones responsible for airing locker room talk and making it offensive to the general public (including children!)

Locker room talk is called “barracks talk” in the military, as I can attest to from eight years in the military! It was not intended for public use on the airwaves. We should strongly chastise the Clinton campaign for using the very private words of Trump to undercut his campaign for president. It was not Trump’s idea to air language that would be offensive. Locker room talk is common among groups of men, as well as among women. Only those who have lived a sheltered life would not know this.

The sad consequence of Trump’s experience is that the propaganda machine of the opposing party and some of the naive populace influenced by such, in condemning Trump, are enabling a long-standing force of evil to invade our beloved country. The force in question is Socialism! We know the Democratic Party has a strong leaning agenda to embrace socialistic ideology. President Obama has made it quite apparent through his words and actions that he is very much in favor of that. Hillary Clinton has affirmed that, if elected, she will continue the Obama style of governance, which Socialism is very much in play. Socialism in America is a European disease that spells the end for our American Constitution as we know it.
