This is in response to Nancy Mobley’s Sept. 21 letter (“Elected Officials: Utilize the KISS (keep it simple stupid) theory”). Ms. Mobley needs to check her facts before signing her name to a letter to the editor. She accused the county council of not having the expertise to prepare the buildable lands report, yet neglected to mention John Koster’s years in the Legislature and his extensive knowledge of land use issues.
She also neglects to understand that the council is made up of talented staff with land use knowledge and expertise with many years of experience. Does she really believe that Koster and Jeff Sax wrote that document without input of land use planners and land use attorneys?
And why did Ms. Mobley invent the nonsense that Councilman Sax is a real estate agent? If she would have taken the time to do her homework she would know that he is an engineer, and has never been associated with the real estate license industry. Next she will be calling him an environmentalist or a Democrat.
