Lakewood School District will be proposing a levy on March 9 and I am asking for your support. As a parent and a member of this community, I have watched our district grow in leaps and bounds. It is vitally important that we keep up with this growth through education and technology for our students. They are our future.
The money raised from this levy will be used for transportation, safety, curriculum and technology. It is money well spent. I have lived in districts where levies have failed and the consequences have been long lasting. Our children deserve the opportunity to have the same quality education as students in larger schools as they will be competing for jobs in the larger world. Please help our children to move forward on their educational journey. Levy stands for “Let’s Everyone Vote Yes.” Please vote yes on March 9.
