Regarding the Dec. 27 editorial, “Expand gun tax across state”: Once again I will decide if I cancel my subscription for one week or forever.
As a typical liberal, your editorial board wants to study gun violence, but has zero issues with baby killing and infanticide, abortion on demand at any stage.
The editorial’s push for a tax, if it ever passes, will not affect me personally as I travel to Idaho and will purchase my skeet and hunting supplies there versus supporting local sporting goods stores here. I doubt you have much of a clue as to how much sporting arms and supplies are already taxed.
If we ever really became serious about punishing gun violence I am sure the rate would continue to decline.
