The free world has got to be tired of hearing about and looking at the picture of this little twerp from Camano Island. (I refuse to list his name again). What more can we do to inflate this kid’s ego?
First, we publish all the things we know or think we know that he has done. Now your paper and the rest of the media start listing all the crimes he might or could have done and all the places where he might have committed them. Why don’t we list things he could do and where he can do them, in case he runs out of ideas?
This kid is a serial criminal and what do we do? We give him celebrity status and feature him in People magazine. If we choose to keep his name and picture out of the limelight, I’m sure this would make activities a lot less fun for him. He must be having the time of life with all this coverage.
It seems Sarah Palin is always feeling the need to put cross-hairs on somebody; this would a great place to start.
Let’s just hope once he’s captured the court system does its job in sentencing him to something he deserves (say, 20 years) to show his cult following that crime does lead to consequences, not getting fame and notoriety.
It’s a shame we can’t give this kind of coverage to the many young people who are doing positive things for themselves and others. Will we ever learn to get our priorities straight?
