Local group wants track in this area

I am writing to show support for the International Speedway Corp., NASCAR and the conceptual proposal for a racetrack near the Arlington airport. I am an avid NASCAR fan, and a Marysville resident. I have many friends and acquaintances who are also NASCAR fans, and I know there many more in our area. I recently had an opportunity to become involved with Fans United for NASCAR, and would encourage any and all race fans and supporters of a track in our area to visit www.fansunitefornascar.com.

FUN is a group of citizen and business leaders that support the City of Marysville and Snohomish County in their effort to recruit ISC to develop a NASCAR facility and family recreational area in Snohomish County. Our goal is to provide factual information regarding the ISC/NASCAR proposal and to help answer some of the most frequently asked questions. NASCAR fans, I know you’re out there, and there are ways to get involved. Show your support by writing to The Herald. Visit the FUN Web site. Most important of all, attend the public forum at Marysville-Pilchuck High School at 7 p.m. Tuesday, and back the track!
