I want to say a few things about how Liz Loomis has been a woman of action. When Loomis was campaigning for her Snohomish City Council position she showed up at my door. I asked her about her plans on improving our roads and sidewalks. She promised to do all she could. I voted for her and watched her go to work for us. We live on the north end of Pine Avenue in town. Our neighborhood kids have been trudging through mud to walk to school for years. Loomis listened to my complaints and went to work. Guess what? We have a brand new three-block-long sidewalk! The traffic improvements and repavement of our city roads is fabulous. Why have we had to wait so long for a person of action in city leadership? I will vote for her return to office.
