As I write, I am looking out the window in horror and disbelief as work crew from D.R. Horton is cutting trees from an old growth forest. Trees that are so huge they be centuries old. One that houses an eagle’s nest and a family of owls. Plus too many birds and other critters to count. This is happening off Seattle Hill Road and 141st. Is there not a retention law for tress of this magnitude? How can the powers that be allow such desecration?
