Mailing low blow against Johnson

The hit piece mailed out against Swede Johnson by the pompous and extremist “Washington Conservation Voters” was the worst attack I’ve seen on a candidate and his type of employment in many years. They must be running scared since he pulled the most votes in the primary.

Swede Johnson has served his community well over the years, having been active in service groups, the school board, church and the County Council.

Hopefully the voters will reasonably reject the derogatory attack on him as a “used car salesman.” Sales is an honorable profession, affording people the opportunity to make an honest living whether it be selling cars or any other product. The sales profession has contributed significantly to making America great.
