Make your opinion known on GOP health care plan

Our entire country is in jeopardy of losing our current health care plan. A few Republican Senate members were holding secret meetings to decide what Americans’ health care plan will be, the cost of the plan, who will be covered and what services will be covered.

These are secret meetings of a few Republican members, and not one Democrat is invited to attend or have input at these meetings. Nor are the Democrats allowed to hold hearings on what these few Republicans decide. It is all up to the Republicans to decide the future for all of us Americans.

We need to stand up for our rights as this is our health and money. They are not at these meetings to protect the elders on Medicare or those lower-income Americans covered by Medicaid. Apparently they just don’t care about the poor and elderly as we are not in the millionaire bracket!

Please stand up for your right as an American and let the politicians know that we need an affordable health care for the elderly and lower income Americans, as we are not rich like they are. If they do pass a bill that doesn’t protect Medicare and Medicaid we will lose a lot of the elderly and lower income to early death.

Immediate action needs to be taken to stand up for your rights as the meetings are being held right now and the Republicans want immediate action on their proposed bill.
