Many thanks to supporters, players

I would like to send a heart felt thank you to the citizens and businesses of Arlington for their unbelievable support of the Stilly Valley Little League. For every single person who generously gave their time, effort and money to support the 11-12-year-old girls All-Star quest — thank you!

Although we fell short of our ultimate goal of winning the World Series, you should be proud to know that they rolled through the district and state tournaments with a 9-0 record. We could not have done this without the support of this community. The Arlington area can now proudly boast that the Stilly Valley girls softball program have won back, to back, to back Washington State Championships! This year’s manager, Brian Fields, as well as myself and Coach Butch Diemer, are extremely proud of every single girl on this team. Thank you, girls! Go Stilly Valley!
