I couldn’t let this one go by. What is it about communists that The Herald and the Associated Press love so much? Back on Aug. 31, you printed an article that completely misrepresents the struggle between villagers in Colombia and roving murdering bands of communist terrorists, named the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia ( FARC).
Early on these commie zealots have been living in the hills and away from the big cities, and to feed themselves they have been raiding, robbing and killing innocent villagers in little remote towns. Now, some civilians have formed defense groups to protect themselves from these marauding killers and The Herald calls them “Death squads.”
If The Herald really cares about those poor communist murderers, maybe you could enlist the help of those whistle-heads that make sandwiches for the bums down in Seattle, and send care packages to the FARC, so they won’t have to kill the villagers. Just an idea.
