I have been reading The Herald for years and one of my favorite sections is Cars and Me. Growing up in a car-loving family, I am always excited to read what Mary Lowry has to say about new vehicles. About a year ago when the news was focused on the rapidly spreading pandemic, I realized that Cars and Me was a bright spot among the chaos.
Mary’s reviews nearly always includes some humor; whether she describes dropping her janitor-sized key ring between seats or the ease of driving with huge snow boots on, she reviews cars in a very relatable way.
My only suggestion would be for Mary to describe how the vehicles handle Trader Joe’s parking lots, because they are always an adventure.
Thank you, Mary, for keeping us smiling over the years!
