Although the current election controversy has turned off a lot of citizens, hopefully one positive result of all this will be a closer scrutiny by all citizens of our entire election process in general. Voting for a candidate is only one part of the process. How and whether votes are counted is just as critical. As a former candidate, I urge all citizens to become more familiar with the entire voting process. This can only result in a stronger democracy.
