McCain’s record on women’s health bad

Everyone has a right to their own opinion, but they ought to at least get the facts straight. In her June 10 column “Pro-choice Democrats and John McCain,” Froma Harrop is completely inaccurate in her assessment of John McCain’s position on reproductive choice. If Harrop had bothered to check the facts, she would know that McCain has an abysmal voting record when it comes to protecting women’s health. He has consistently voted against even the most commonsense measures on family planning, sex education, and reproductive health. Don’t just rely on political columnists. Check the facts yourself and then make an informed decision. Moderate? When it comes to women’s health, John McCain is out of touch.
