Life is full of disappointments. One of my biggest disappointments was when I found myself in Jim McDermott’s district after the legislative districts were redrawn in Washington. He has been an embarrassment to the people he represents and to the state of Washington since he began his career as a lifetime politician. In looking at his “storied” career, I can’t find one thing he has done that benefits all of his constituents since his time in Congress except for benefitting the labor unions and the far left interest groups that own him.
Now he makes himself and the state of Washington the laughing stock of the nation (again) with his moronic comments blaming the citizens of this country who were illegally targeted by the IRS for being targeted. Folks, we have to stop electing people like McDermott. He acts like he does and talks like he does because he knows that he has a seat in Congress for life. If we are truly concerned and informed citizens who care about our Constitution, individual liberties and the future of this country we need to elect people with integrity and common sense and vote people like Jim McDermott out of office. Enough is enough!
If we decide to run a potted plant against McDermott in the next Congressional election, I might vote for the potted plant. The I.Q. numbers would be similar (the potted plant might have the edge here) and I have never known a potted plant to purposely embarrass me.
