It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to understand why Rob McKenna has chosen right now to actually involve himself in something as far-reaching (read: Washington D.C.) as the health-care law. Politics, you know.
I’d like to know where he was a few years back, when I reported the fraudulent Medicaid billing of a health-care provider here in Washington state and he chose not to pursue it, even though the evidence was irrefutable, because he didn’t think he could “win” the case. So much for looking out for this state’s interests.
This new crusade won’t make him any more popular with me, but it does serve to get his name out there, doesn’t it?
