McKenna’s mind already made up

I reread the opening paragraph of your endorsement of McKenna for governor several times to be sure you were telling me that McKenna has “a beautiful mind.” Whoa! That’s over the top, even for this schizophrenic political season.

It’s certainly a mind made up. No to marriage equality; no to woman’s right to choose; no to protecting the environment from corporate irresponsibility; in fact, no compromise — as he promises at Tea Party rallies.

But thank you for reminding me of the Venn diagram system for showing relationships. Two circles showing McKenna’s relationship with the Republican party would surely merge into one. And, to repeat what other letter writers have expressed, who knows what McKenna would do once in office? What lawsuits, for example, would he dream up in his “beautiful mind?”

This voter, with his “smart, qualified soul” recommends a man with national legislative experience supporting jobs, businesses, the environment, our schools, and all citizens with their dreams of the future, for the office of governor — Jay Inslee.
