I am not confident that The Herald will ever get it straight. All winter you wrote of President Bush’s rush to war in Iraq. He couldn’t wait for the inspectors. He couldn’t wait for the UN. He couldn’t wait for a coalition.
Then the writing was all “What did he know and when did he know it?” The president should have skipped meals and used the time to prevent the attack on the World Trade Center.
Now The Herald follows Bob Woodward into the fog of “All the President’s War.” The war that was planned from day one.
