In a special election on April 23, voters who live in the Valley General Hospital District will be asked to vote on a levy (Proposition 1) whose passage will, among other things, assure that our valley will continue to have emergency services at our local hospital. Time is often critical in the medical outcome for a patient who requires emergency care. Minutes count. Members of my family have personally benefited over the years from having emergency services available in our community.
Having a full service hospital with a full service emergency room is healthy for our community. For many it is imperative to the quality of their lives here in the Sky Valley. Please join us in voting yes when you receive your ballot on or around April 5. Help save Valley General Hospital.
