Here they go again. So the Democrats want to hike licensing fees yet again to pay for ferries, transportation and road maintenance.
If fares collected from ferry riders don’t fund the ferry system, what do they fund? The ferry system is obviously mismanaged. Fire those in charge and install a
n intelligent, capable person to manage the ferries properly. Same with bus service. Whenever I see one of those huge Swift buses go by, typically there are less than 10 people on the bus out of more than 90 seats or more on board.
As far as the roads, the state lottery should be paying for roads, as well as education. The only solution Democrats seem to ever have to dig their way out of their own inability to manage funds properly is to dream up more ways to take more from the already overtaxed working people of Washington. These officials who are incapable of managing money need to be removed from office. “Period,” end of story.
