Graphics can be helpful in explaining a news story, but not when they leave out a crucial detail, as in The Herald’s illustration “How the abortion pill works” (Sept. 29). A more honest and complete depiction would have included the baby, who, as your text indicates, is about to be “expelled.” I find this omission an insulting and thinly veiled effort to obscure the fact that this procedure, just like other abortion methods, brings an unnatural end to an otherwise viable human life.
