I will not be renewing my subscription to the Everett Herald this year or reading it any longer. I’ve been subscribing for over 30 years, and I’ve finally reached my limit. I have in the last few years put up with having to disassemble and reassemble the paper every day in order to read it. I have accepted that the new economy means that you can no longer afford to have people edit your newspaper for spelling and grammar, even to the point of misspelling headlines. But on Feb. 15, you finally crossed the line. There really can be no reason to publish the Sunday Times Crossword solution on the same page as the puzzle other than to incense puzzle solvers. The facing page was bad enough, but putting the solution right next to the puzzle is just that one step too far. Goodbye.
