Mom of two feels blessed her kids are cared for

I now “officially” have a seventh grader and a second grader. My mother warned me they would grow up fast. But I had no idea just how fast the years would go by. I’m very lucky. I have two very bright, wonderful children who love school. But I’m not ignorant. I know that there are wonderful teachers who have blessed their lives and help foster that love.

So I would just like to thank all of those wonderful teachers (past included) who have helped make the school years so wonderful. From Whittier Elementary School we’ve had the honor of having Theresa Burke, Faith Whetstone (three years between my two children), Sonja Tress, Terry Jongejan and Jocelyn Baily. From North Middle School we’ve had Nancy Killgore, Rita Husby and Brian Robertson.

So a very special thank you to these wonderful teachers who have greeted my children with smiles, taught them with love and patience and guided them with undying wisdom. I feel so blessed to have had you in our lives. Have a wonderful summer!
