Like the bouillabaisse pot calling the kettle black: France-based Airbus says that it believes the United States owes the European Union $45 billion in a trade dispute, claiming illegal subsidies were provided to Boeing, which has made similar complaints about Airbus.

It’s all happening at the zoo: A wild bald eagle has taken up residence outside the enclosure of the Orange County Zoo’s bald eagle exhibit in Irvine, Calif., paying particular attention to a female bald eagle named Olivia.
Zookeepers may have to discourage the ill-fated love affair, however. Not because the eagles pose much of a problem, but they don’t want lovesick lions, crocodiles and hippos hanging outside the gates.
