If you really look at I-594 you will see that it is a violation of our rights and an invasion of our privacy. If you look closer you will see that it is basically financed by the following backers: Gate’s $50,000, Ballmers $600,000, Nick Hanauer $400,000, Paul Allen $500,000 and former New York mayor Bloomberg over $1 million.
The group is responsible for nearly 66 percent of the $3.5 million given to the Washington Alliance for Gun Responsibility. If this isn’t the case of a few rich citizens trying to buy an election I don’t know what is. The TV ads want you to believe this is an initiative will stop bad guys from getting guns, it won’t. What it will do is make responsible gun owners register there guns with the government, and this will add another layer of government.
