In regard to the pending censure of Everett School Board member Jessica Olson, two questions immediately arise. First, why the secrecy in the decision making process of the School Board? It seems that actions concerning the future of my children’s education should be very public and totally transparent.
Second, has Ms. Olson begun flouting board policy out of the blue? Or has this followed some sort of ongoing battle? While I agree with Ms. Olson’s point concerning school board secrecy, I’d like to know more about the history of the debate.
