Thank you, Lloyd Weller, for expanding on the proposed coal trains that are to pass through our area. (April 16 letter, “Shipments direct threat to health.”)
There are so many questions that need answering.
Was an environmental impact study done? If not, why not?
Who owns the mines where the coal is coming from?
What about the hillsides where the 100 car trains pass? Are they stable?
The questions go on and on.
We as the public need to be informed.
