More than a dozen signals a problem

Regarding the Sept. 28 article, “Mount Vernon man is a DUI suspect for 14th time”:

Where is our justice system? I have lost two brothers and a sister due to drunk drivers. I would like to know, where’s the law? I mean, this guy had 14 DUIs — come on, something is wrong here. I do not know who is to blame, but we need to do something. Alcohol is like a gun when you are driving under the influnce. You do not know what your judgment is driving under the influnce. You can kill your wife, husband, kids, friends and neighbors. I am a member of the Snohomish County DUI Task Force and I am trying to save lives from drunk drivers, but this is outrageous.
